I'm usually interested in "a lot" of Dungeon and "some" Poly. I wouldn't mind if the amount of Poly changed from month to month but would prefer to have it stay less than 50%.

I'm going with the assumption that Poly is here to stay no matter how much anyone at ENWorld rants and raves and screams (and besides, I do think that Poly *could* be useful if the mini-games were either dumped or made more D&D-compatible and the number of maps (of anything, modern or otherwise!) were vastly increased), so I voted 80% Dungeon and 20% Poly. I'd be happy with that. I'd even go with a 70/30 split.

Without the assumption I noted above, then it would be 100% Dungeon. But I'm not voting that way since it's not relevant.

Lots of Dungeon, not very much Polyhedron.

Dungeon content at least has a chance to be directly useful for me, so I prefer a lot of it. Polyhedron content is mildly interesting in the abstract, but for my purposes essentially useless so far. I'm interested in new ideas, and Poly can be valuable as a forum for new things to do to the d20 system, but it's still more of an idle curiosity for me than anything else.

I'm not arrogant enough to assume that my opinion on the issue is necessarily that of the majority, or that it's in any a more valid stance. I am however certainly arrogant (I prefer realistic) enough to assume that like me, a majority of people are more likely to play standard-ish D&D games than are likely to play variant d20 games, particularly magazine-based one-offs with no possibility of ongoing support. Accordingly, I expect that this poll will follow closely in the footsteps of all the other Dungeon/Poly polls. The votes will swing massively in favor of Dungeon content, but the most vocal and strident commentary will come from the Polyhedron fans who feel they're being unfairly oppressed and their particular tastes devalued.

Since the only commentary I've seen on the matter so far has been that of the polarized groups flocking to these polls, I'm eager to see what Paizo has to say - and more importantly, what they do next.

Polyhedron has been extremely colorful and constructive lately. However, I don't feel that it should take up as much space, as the color and constructs seem to be more 'pretty' than useful (sorry Erik). The mini-game idea is cool, but usually something that I just don't have time to delve into. I'd like to see more general DM and play tips instead of most of the current content in Poly. It would be great if it worked 'with' Dungeon instead of 'instead of' Dungeon.

The beauty of Poly is that it can cover a wide range of topics, whereas Dragon and Dungeon are pretty much set. There's not much else for options that aren't just pseudo-copies of Dragon.

So it seems to me that a fair compromise between the anti-Dungeon crowd and the anti-Poly crowd is 80% Dungeon content and 20% Poly content. I'm no fan of Poly but would be willing to buy it again if the content were allocated in this way. Given the results this far it seems that most of the sample would consider this fair.
