Dungeon / Polyhedron.

You know what? I just realized why I purchase Dungeon now.... not for the adventures, but for the minigame.

The adventures are still fine, but am finding myself wandering into the game store, instantly flipping the book over to find out if the mingame looks cool. If it does, I have been buying it. If not, I haven't - (only one I think)

If POLYHEDRON were to go on its own, I would definitely subscribe.

An expanded mini game in each issue (bigger than it is now)... a dream come true. Even if we only got 6 issues a year.... Wow.

I would subscribe in a heartbeat.

What does everyone else think?

What are the chances of Polyhedron going on its own? Any ideas?

The chances of them splitting are basically nil.

You might want to root around in the D20 Publishers forum and the D20 System Games forum for more discussion of this issue.

I wish they would, too. However, for the exact opposite reason for you..more adventures, less minigames :)

I still subscribed, can't wait for the path adventure.

You know, I must have let my subscription lapse because I haven't seen this most recent one (the one with Life's Bazaar in it).

I think its the brand new issue, and I haven't seen it yet, either (but I always seem to get my issues slower than others for some reason :()

I buy it for both. Even though I've never gotten to run a minigame, I like having and reading them and sometimes I find new feats to use in my D&D game. Pulp Heroes was my favorite!

The new Shackled City Adventure Path I think is a very good idea and will be helpful to those DMs without time to create their own city from scratch, especially if they focus on developing the various shops, buildings and people section by section. The actual city adventures I think are much less important than the development of the location as an adventuring base, as adventures will suggest themselves if the area is well developed.

I have yet to read the Polyside of the magazine, but will probably start because I have heard so many good things about it. Everyone needs a break from D&D at some time.

I think it is why I stopped buying Dungeon.

I wanted it for the adventures, but since the d20 modern person in our group buys it for the minigames- the adventures are now pointless.

Bar, I think he's saying that he can't use the adventures if someone else in the group is buying the mag and possibly also reading them...
