Blasphemy, I know, but I don't think any of the 3rd edition ones belong on this list. There have been some pretty great 3E adventures from 3rd party publishers, however.

edit -- #24 is City of the Spider Queen, right?

another edit -- someone remind me: what is City of Skulls again?

City of Skulls is the only Greyhawk adventure on the list from the post-Greyhawk Wars era.

The PCs are sent to infiltrate Iuz's city of Dorakaa, enter his dungeons and escape with an important prisoner; the former ruler of the Shield Lands.

Hey Glyfair, how about the list of 10 Dungeon Magazine advantures, too?

Hey

I don't have a lot of fimiliarity with most of the modules on this list. However, from my limited experience, I would put Ruins of Undermountain higher on the list, just for sheer volume, and make Ravenloft (I'm assuming this is I6?) numero uno. As far as I can tell, it's the only module on the list that inspired an entire campaign setting - and a rather successful one at that.

Thanks
-Matt

Yup. Fixed.

They said that some 3rd party 3E adventures were on some of the panel's list, but none had recieved more than 1 vote. They suggested that down the road, some might be on the list (indeed, I see a side thread developing out of that topic, but I'm sure that roads been touched on).

Dark Tower was AD&D (see upper left corner of cover)

Thanks. Totals fixed. I might at some point do a list of most appearing authors. Numero Uno is obvious, but number 2 has a few contenders. Notably, David C. Sutherland III would be in the running.

Strange, I don't recall Dark Tower at all. Did it have a letter code? Please, remind what this one is before it drives me nuts!

Judge's Guild.

That more adventures from the "basic" D&D aren't on the list, shows a distinct ignorance on the panel of the many Basic D&D adventures that have been published, IMO. B10 Night's Dark Terror should have been in the top 10. Personally, I rate it in the top three of my personal list.

X4-X5, the Desert Nomads adventure sure could have been there.

The Wrath of the Immortals could have earned a spot just purely due to the scope of the thing.

Just like today's WotC has no one left that understands Greyhawk, looks like this list panel had a void of knowledge of what happened with Basic D&D after the Expert set was published. Ah well.

Also, IMO, either of the Dark Sun adventures Freedom or Dragon's Crown could have been on the list, if even at the bottom.

The list is interesting. The only thing that really stands out being wrong is that Forge of Fury has absolutly no business being the 12th best module of all time.

I have some other minor quibbles (e.g. Desert of Desolation & Firestorm Peak being a bit too high), but mostly agree with with rest.

Oh wait, where is City State of the Invincible Overlord?? :\
