Dungeonscape ToC

"Quick Reconnoiter" is a feat already. Is this an upgrade or are they just duplicating material from Complete Adventurer?

Factotum?

Sounds like it's the Nodwick class. :)

"What shall we do with all of this heavy loot?"

"Give it to the factotum to carry. He's good at that kind of thing."

Cheers,
Cam

Armed with a scythe, yeah! It had better have that class ability somewhere ;) Do you think it gets Bigby's slapping hand as a spell-like ability at will? ;)

Probably - but I'm not looking forward to the built in class weakness:

Has a giant room with a huge pulsating heart that it has to rely on it's minions to defend

Personally I think your BBEG needs to have the chance to run away if everything goes wrong

Factotum is a stupid-sounding name.

fac·to·tum

–noun 1. a person, as a handyman or servant, employed to do all kinds of work around the house.

2. any employee or official having many different responsibilities.

I looked it up too. It still sounds stupid.

Underwhelmed.

I was hoping for a book about the "underdark" and how to build caves/caverns/tunnels, with intersting terrain effects. Perhaps I was wrong in my expectations, and now that I know what to expect I'll warm up to it.

Maybe if Matt Smith's previews were still really previews I'd have a better idea about how I feel about this product.....

Im not a fan of dungeons either. But I try to get all the non-Module, Non-Eberron releases (Wotc) so Im getting this anyway. It might even help me change my mind on them.
