Dwarf Bard: Hammer as implement possible?

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Sadly the Implement Powers from the Bard are simply far too good to pass them up, so I will not go with Weapon Powers only (which would have been the easiest way).

I tried the Pact Hammer, but the Character Builder doesn't let me use it (tried Multiclassing and AIP). Hybrid is a bit much just for a Hammer Implement, but this should actually work.

So thanks again for all the tips, but I think I will stick with either the Kopesh or a re-skinning.

Please tell me your dwarf bard isn't going to be named MC Hammer. Did you hear about the dwarf who used a pick as an implement? He only played miner chords. Later he broke into rock music (talk about digging music!). His dice rolling was so bad he was basically a one-hit wonder.

A Hammer (weapon attacks) and a magical Drum (implement) would be quite cool! But we have a low magic item campaign and I don't think that maintaining 2 items will be a good Idea, but I will certainly sleep over that Idea!

LOL! I think my GM would kill me for that Name ;)

If you're having a low magic-item campaign, talk to your GM about the possibility of using the Inherent Bonuses variant, so that people don't have to worry about where the next + comes from.

If its low magic (assuming inherent bonuses option in use?? ask DM) you dont have to worry that much about 2 implements I would definitely go with it ... that is your flavor and function right?

Argh somebody already mentioned it.

We don't use the inherent Bonus, but I have already a very simple solution: After seeing how awesome 4E Dwarvenswords look, I simply took such a longsword (my Character Rocks without much damage) :)
