Dwarven Defender AC Bonus

Armor/Shield/Natural Armor/A little Dex

Actually a Circle of Death ruined his month already. :)

For touch attacks I've tried oozes and spellcasters and incorporeal creatures. Running low. They are currently trying to find a back way into an ancient magical foundry that used to produce thin sheets of adamantine that could levitate enormous weights. It's deep in a large cold mountain and they are thinking of using an underground river to get to it.

They reason that the foundry probably had either the river running through it or near it and that they might try each of it's forks until they find the right one.

Anyone receive official word from the sage yet on whether or not Dwarven Defender's receive an AC bonus?

Given that the Sage has just been retrenched by WOTC, if you haven't got an answer already, you're not likely to get one.

No more Sage-bashing. It's the end of an era. :(

Or, in the spirit of laid-off employees everywhere, he'll send a prank answer ...

"That is an omission in the text. The Dwarven Defender's AC bonus should be noted as a 'stupidity' bonus-this character sometime just doesn't notice that he's been hit, and therefore doesn't suffer the damage. The 'stupidity' bonus stacks with any other named bonus except an 'insight' bonus'; these bonus types actually negate each other, so a Monk/Dwarven Defender with a +3 Insight AC bonus from the Monk class and a +4 Stupidity AC bonus from the Dwarven Defender class would have a net +1 Stupidity bonus to his AC.

This progression was correctly omitted from the ELH, as Epic-level characters are all equally stupid."
