Dwarven Durability - Infernal Sweetness

Wow, just saw that paragon feats today, Dwarven Durability looks nice. 2 extra healing surges and CON bonus to healing surge value? Awesome!

At 12th level a Dwarven Warlock with 24 CON, thats a +7 healing surge value. They could have 101 HP, 15 healing surges, with a healing value of 32! It seems to be that healing surges are pretty much the beginning and end of healing, so thats pretty nice for one feat.

Combine that with improved dark one's blessing always giving you an extra 15 temp. hps and infernal dwarven Warlocks get pretty beefy for being a striker.

Anyway, before I thought dwarf wouldn't be my first choice for Warlock, but that feat made me change my mind.

Can you explain how you get 101 HP ? I calculate 22 for first level, 55 for 2-12, 10 more if you take toughness, I get 87. Am I doing my math wrong ?

24 con at 12th level? start with 20, +1 at 4 and 8, another +1 at 11..leaves you at 23. Wouldn't get to 24 until 14th.

Does changing your CON affect your initial HP's?

With a 20 con at 1st level, you'd have 35 hp (15 + CON score, not modifier)..would this get to 38 with a 23 con at 12th level?

so 35 + 55 + 10 = 100 or 38 + 55 + 10 = 103 depending if changes in CON are retroactive.

Per pg 27 of the PHB, when you increase your CON score you increase your HP by that amount. ie. When you hit 4th level and increase your CON from 20 to 21, you would increase your Max HP by 1 also.
