E-Tools and The Secret Power

Ok, So I've got E-Tools... Patched up to 1.3, all happy and shiny!

But... I know E-Tools must be able to do a lot of neato stuff, but I'm not sure what it CAN do beyond the obvious.

And since there's no real documentation, I don't know how I can learn to unlock all the power and potential of E-Tools...

Can anyone tell me what E-Tools can do, or point me in the direction of tutorials, or... ANYTHING?

Click on the Help>Contents menu item. There's quite a lot of information in there on the various screens and what they do.

If you have specific questions, drop by CMP and ask in their forums. Many people there are happy to help.

Davin is so modest. He's crafted a wonderful program called eTools Helper (ETHelper) that has added to the functionality of eTools, AND, Code Monkey Publishing gave him his own area in the Forum.

My favorite elements to E-Tools are the Monster race creation, and the ease of use in advancing monsters in HD. These are both big - I can easily recreate any monster from a 3rd party book in E-Tools and then modify/advance it/give it levels all very easily.

Of course, I can't wait for them to bring out data sets and to bring 3.5 capability to the program...

Hm, very cool! I want to add in my home campaign's races. Perhaps I'll try that out to start.

Advancing HD sounds VERY cool! Going to have to try that out with some ulgursastaa (sp?)...
