I don't understand about 3.5. What's this, then, and why doesn't it say that it's unreleased and for pre-sale like it used to?
As I understand it, the eTools-3.5-CoreBooks will not be available until November. However, various eTools-3.5-Megapacks should already be available, but only includes the non-Core content so far (which is effectively the same for either 3.0 or 3.5), with the 3.5-Core content to be available as a pre-paid update or add-on when it is released.

However, given the confusion over timing and naming such things, I could still be misinterpreting what Mynex has said. So if you're desperate for perfect accuracy, refer to their front page and several of their threads for a bunch of different ways he's tried to describe it. Hopefully it'll all make perfect sense then.

[Edit: BTW, the page above the one you cited clearly states that it's pre-order only.]

I downloaded the megapacks yesterday, but I haven't had a chance to play with them too much yet. There seems to be at least a little bit of bugginess with racial levels, but that may be due to the Savage Spieces exclusion. I also notice some of the prestige classes are listed as having no prereqs. I also wanted to come up with an OA Vanara, but haven't found where they're keeping it.

So, when I have more time I'll play around with it and maybe these problems will be dealt with.

Just DL the splat books this morning, so far so good. The price was right too.

Couple of things that kind of bugged me like for example:

If you take the Forsaker, you have to enter the ability scores yourself. nothing pops up to asked you were you would like to add the bonuses. (this goes for other Prc like Dragon Diciple)

But still worth the price.

But if you do decide to download anything, I would wait a day or two, or do it late at night, the site is very busy during prime time and very slow.

Good Luck

I know that code monkey is popular around here, and I have no complaints on the job,(and often thankless job at that) they are performing to make E-tools a usable commodity, but I cant stand the design of their website.

I'm not an I.T. person but given they are coders one would think they would be able to get some nice advanced features that monkey coders are always refering to in letter combos.

A vast gulf separates those who can code from those who are good graphics/layout people.

I'd guess it depends on what you mean by "the page above," as I went to http://www.codemonkeypublishing.com, clicked on "Storefront," and then clicked on "Core Set Revised 3.5" in the Bestsellers list on the left.

It's one of the trickiest parts of web design: never assuming your customers navigated to a page in any particular way. They may well have followed a link posted on a messageboard somewhere, the result of a search engine, or via a previously-saved bookmark/favorite.

FL -- Yeah, I agree. FWIW, I followed your link to the item, then clicked "... eTools bundles" from it's navigation-title.

I noticed that the CMP site is down .. anyone have a direct link to the storefront assuming it's external?
It's back up again. They've moved it to a new server though, so the IP address is different. Go to their home page and it will redirect you to the direct IP address for the next few days until the change gets propogated around the world.

I'm so very happy that Code Monkey is working on this project that I hate to complain, but these packs need some patching. I've found a number of bugs so far. I'm going to try to catalog them, although I assume that they've already got some of them reported. Some magic items are posted as costing millions of gold pieces; I rolled up a human character who for some reason teh computer gave negative ability modifiers to (-1 to Str, Dex and Con, +1 to Int, Wis, and Cha).

Strange things.
