Back in the final room puzzling over the lock on the last door, Percy remembers something from her detect magic that she had cast in this room:
The inscription on the shrine, as well as the one on the north wall both radiate magic.

The asp does have an inscription. While Nezrak is hesitant to cast his comprehend languages spell on just one inscription, Nars hits on another idea. Matching the inscriptions from the rods to the inscriptions on the figurines he determines that the asp and the orange rod.

As the inscriptions are matched, Nars notices that the orange rod seems to fit together with a small impression in the bottom of the Asp figurine. Snapping it into place he has one assembled figurine with rod sticking out from beneath it.

Nars will try assembling the other 4 figurines they have found with their rods:
Ram - Sera - purple
hippo - Nehes - red
scarab -Mekharr - blue
cat - Ama - yellow

Rodimus is rather frustrated at them seeming to need to start doing puzzle games, so he's just doing some basic stretches and other practice as he waits for the more mentally inclined to do their stuff.

"Good job, Nars. So we need two little statues, of an ibex & a crocodile. If we find these, they may say something on them that would help us to match them to the right rod."

"I wonder if that ibex call we heard back in the horse room could help us. But that horse statue was 8 feet tall. We can't use that. It was holdling the hore's harness. But I can't see how that would help us."

"Now what about this magic writing. Probably a curse. But is there anyway to read it? Do you think you could read it with your spell, Nezrak? "

Percy examines the pedistle where the jackal was standing. Does it appear it might have anything inside?

Gorefoot keeps an eye on Percy, to make sure nothing tries to eat her.

OOC: Did we try leading the skeleton horse to the indentations in the floor by grabbing its halter? Also, did we try getting Courage onto the indentations?

OOC: We used courage & got that door open.

Nars is able to assemble the other four keys. Looking then at the statues on the door, he sees that if he slides the key into the hole in the statues' hands, the grooves on the bottom of each figurine would fit nicely into place on top of the hands and the rods would drop down and be held by the statue.

Percy looks over the box hesitant to read the magical inscription, avoiding that she notices that the top of the shrine looks like it could be slid off. It is a good supposition that it might have a hollow space inside like a box.
