E1: Tomb of Chaos [Judge: Patlin] [Concluded]

Nars mumbles softly into his beard, "no locks, no locks. hrmph." Hoping it is unlikely anything will spring out of these closed doors, Nars continues on to the next door on the right.

Percy

Percy gently touches Nars' shoulder. "Let's not worry about any of the doors until we reach the end of the corridor. It looks like the gnolls haven't penetrated any of these areas. We'll come back to these once we're confident we've cleared out the gnolls."
 

Following Percy's advice, Nars continues on. He still stops to examine each door for a bit (1 round) to determine if it has been opened recently. These doors he will listen at and point out to his companions.
 

The next door down the hall on the right looks newer. A quick examination tells Nars that this door has seen some use in recent days. Listening carefully at the door however he is unable to hear any sounds beyond it. He spends a bit more time and determines that it is not locked or trapped.
 



After taking time to draw both swords, Nars opens the door.

OOC: Sorry. In the future, Nars will open any doors directed by Percy after he has scanned for traps.
 

Everyone should cluster around the door. Rodimus and Gorefoot are powerful fighters. Ishmael is the only one that can heal, and thus should stay back a bit. Percy will try to stay behind Gorefoot so she can fire over his head.
 

Storage Room

The door opens easily but the unoiled hinges make a horrible noise as Nars swings it open. In this room the smell of ale mingles with the faint steel tang of blood. Several cupboards line the western and northern walls, and some crates, boxes, and a barrel along the southern wall suggest you've found a storage room. Across the room the outline of another door can be seen.
