Seeing that the bats won't follow him, and that his companions in the room are busily engaged, Gorefoot decides that he'll just have to kill every enemy in the room to help his companions. Seeing that his sword isn't terribly effective against the skeleton, he does what any self-respecting Barbarian would do. He hits it harder.
OOC: Power attacking for 2, so +7 to hit, and 1d10+9 to damage.
Percy let's loose her magic missile as the jackal comes into her field of view. It is difficult to see that far through the 'shadowy' light, but the missiles always strike true.
Rodimus has tried and failed to squish bats, thusly he charges over to the jackal and helps Ishmael out. Even with the momentum, he is unable to hit.
Gorefoot sends bones flying as his sword smashes into the cheetah. Amazingly the thing is still standing.
Nars moves around the room taking his time to make sure nothing tries to bite at him while he maneuvers up behind the jackal.
Ishmael unfortunately feeling the effects of the curse (and rolling a 1) misses the jackal completely.
[Round 10]
Yinopu tries to bite at Ishmael, but only succeeds at touching him with the side of it's jaw. Regardless the spell that the jackal had been holding discharges, sending shards of negative energy coursing through Ishmael's body.
The spiritual hammer winks out of existance.
The bats following Rodimus find more food in Ishmael adding to the poor halfling's pain.
The cheetah attacks Gorefoot and would have delivered a nasty bite, had it not been affected by the concealment that the unnatural darkness afforded everyone. (and even though the torch is on the ground right next to Gorefoot)

[sblock]PS Forgot to mention that Nezrak stabilized the round after he fell down.
OOC: Included flanking since he goes before Ishmael
Also, small rules note regarding touch spells that I found interesting, only read if you want.:
[SBLOCK]I included this only because I found it interesting. I don't think anything previous actions need to or should be revised. Rules reference. Under touch spells in combat, it says a character can cast the spell and then move and then make the touch attack so in the previous round the jackal could have touched Ishmael. Also, under holding the charge, it says if you make a normal attack, your attack must hit in order to deliver the spell. Hitting the touch AC is not sufficient to discharge the spell, though I think it makes sense to rule it as Erekose did.[/SBLOCK]
Percy steps forward into the room, holding her torch high to get a better view. She's very grossed out by the bats & hopes they go away. She'll hit Yinopu with another magic missile.
OOC: dmg =5. IC has been very poor for my magic missiles. That was my last first level sepll, too. Remaining: 4/0/4
Rodimus manages to score a solid kick to the jackal.
Gorefoot misses, perhaps over estimating the ease of hitting the cheetah.
Nars misses the jackal even with his well placed strike.
Ishmael steps forward out of the bats and cures himself, the bleeding stopping. The jackal tries to snap at him, but misses.
[Round 11]
Yinopu steps back as well to avoid being caught in between Nars and Ishmael. He snaps again at Ishmael and scores another minor hit on the halfling.
The bats stay put, slowly feeding on Rodimus.
The cheetah is extremely lucky this time and hits with both its bite and one of it's claw attacks.

[sblock]Nim, I moved Ishmael to the only square he could make it with a 5ft step. Hope that works for you, even though it netted you no hp gain, atleast you are not bleeding anymore.
Regarding the touch attack. I didn't know that, thanks Slagmortar. I'll keep that in mind. The bite attack was actually flavor, I had looked up the spell and rolled a touch attack.
Sorry all for the short reply, not much time to work on it today.
Nars continues to press his attack, despite the lack of success. He steps once more into flanking position (assuming Rodimus doesn't take it) and strikes out again.
