E1: Tomb of Chaos [Judge: Patlin] [Concluded]

Nars says quietly, "Well, ah, if the, er, person is still here, he is either, ah, in one of them, or there's a, ah, secret door." Avoiding the caskets for now (though keeping an eye on them lest they sneak up on him), Nars takes a closer look at the wall with the mural, looking for any secret compartments. (Search +13)

Ishmael enters the room cautiously and scans it with his Divine Inquisition.

OOG: Detect Evil can penetrate barriers, but 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt blocks it.

"What is this gross stuff they're doing?" Percy asks softly, to no one in particular. Percy holds the torch high and looks around, keeping alert, and asking Fridly to do the same. If they've come to the end of the corridor and haven't found anyone, they may as well begin to search the rooms.

Moving around the jackal-headed idol holding the bowl of flame, Nars does a very thorough search. He finds a secret alcove hidden behind the idol. In the alcove is a hidden panel and behind that panel is a small stone dial with a small round depression in the middle. Carved along the dial's outer edge in a circle are symbols depicting the different phases of the moon.

Ishmael is not able to detect any evil at this time.

Percy relaxes somewhat, once it looks like no combat is immenent. Let's seach these areas while we're at it. Maybe there's something in those animal jars."

Percy then puts her fingers to her temple and concentrates, walking slowly through these last three rooms, seeing if anything radiates magic.

Nars looks over the dial carefully trying to make sure nothing harmful will come from touching it. "There's an, er, dial here. With the, ah, moon on it."

Percy starts in the large room to the south. It contains no traces of magic. Moving quickly into the room on the left, it too appears devoid of magical energies. The room where the others are searching, however, reveals a few more things of note. The flames in the bowl are magical and there is something faint radiating from one of the middle caskets on the north wall.

OOC: Percy int check: 2+0=2. Percy's lucky to remember her birthday! But if that's a clue that we should remember, I just want to say 'Thank you Erekose!' Is that all Nars has to say?

IC: "The moon? Don't werewolves get dangerous on the full moon? Also more people have babies and fall in love." says Percy.
