E2: The Secret of Gemhold [Patlin Judging]

"Oh. Great. Thanks for watching out for us. I slept like a pearl on a necklace."

Percy has gotten faster, but without ugly gross things around, she still likes to wash up a little and brush her hair before she gets going.

When Rodimus wakes up, he starts doing some exercises. After a while, he comes to the conclusion that his muscles have mostly stopped burning, but he still feels weaker than normal.

OoC: HP 44/50
Str 18 (+4) Con 14 (+2); Fort +7; Grapple +12; Unarmed Strike +8 (1d8+6 magic bludgeoning)

Poisons are nasty. It'll still take two more days for Rodimus's Constitution to be back up and running.

When everyone is ready to go, the Thorns indicate the trail that they have been following (though only the most astute outdoor tracker ~ Gorefoot ~ would notice there is a trail at all). After another two hours the Thorn holds his hand up indicating for the group to stop. The other, who until now has been silent since the time you met them, says something in a fey language, Sylvan:
Fellows of the Larkenhold Reach, we bring travellers seeking your host. Will you approach and grant us an audience?
. He is speaking into the woods and no one can tell to whom he is addressing.

"I told you that Russna could do something for the poison, just stay still a moment." Ridik starts to makes a prayer to his goddess and after almost twenty seconds, Rodimus starts to feel his body refreshed. (Heal up to 4 Con damage) "So, how do you feel? You seems better at first sight. I hope it will help you for the coming days. And if you still feels some side effect from those mushroom spore, tell me, and tomorrow, I'll make sure Russna will help you. After all, you've help one of her follower, it is just a right thing for you to have something back in return. It was good to see none of you leaving me behind. Goblin are generally just ignored or almost hated by other races, it is a bit annoying for us... I must tell most goblin have earned there hatred... I'm speaking of the green one. Anyway, let's go, I think the others are about to leave without us." Ridik grabs his pack and follow the group.

As they stop two hours later Ridik slowly walk up to Percy and whispers. "To whom are they speaking to? The trees?"

Rodimus finally sees why the group took Ridik along: the little goblin is actually useful.
He hrmphs his thanks to the small cleric as he feels his vitality restored.

OoC: Wohoo! 50/56HP, Str down one point but not enough to affect the modifier. Rodimus is as good as new :)

[SBLOCK=OOC]Converting Shield of Faith for Ridik, Hold Person and Spiritual Weapon to heal Rodimus, the minimum healing will be enough to heal both. no one else have lethal damage and should be able to heal easily during the night.[/SBLOCK]

which means Rodimus been fully healed by Ridik before the night. He is at 56/56 hp

An answer returns in the same language, Sylvan:
Vassals of the Queen the travellers that you have brought appear friendly, we come.
. At that two humans slip out of the trees just ahead. How you missed them you'll never know, but they must excel at hiding in the forest. In Syvan they say,
Welcome friends of the Queen.
With a slight hand signal from the Thorn, the one who spoke says in Common, "Ah sorry, its been too long since I've had to speak in the common tongue, you are welcome, friends of the Queen of the Reach."

The two male humans are wearing cloaks made up of patches of different green and brown fabric sewn to look like piles of leaves or bark. Beneath their hoods (which are down) they both sport long ragged hair, but no facial hair. They look somewhere in their mid to late twenties and each carry long bows made of pure white wood.
