Ridik draw his weapon and stay behind after a few second he adds "Moving into positions? Battle station? Am I missing something here?"

[Round 1]

Rodimus leaps across the shrieking fungus on the ground and easily clears the height he needs to get up onto the ledge. The agile orc has to enter the area crouching as its only a few feet high on the ledge. Before him he sees:
[sblock=Rodimus]That the ledge continues off to the north east with a very low ceiling, ending in a pile of rubble. Rather close to him (5ft) are 4 short purple mushrooms with weird purple tentacles that are reaching out towards him in anticipation.[/sblock]
Nezrak remains in line, but gets ready should something come from that aweful noise.

Nars heads deeper into the room towards the small hole in the south western wall and easily disappears into the darkness.

Gorefoot stands ready in front of Percy.

Percy holds her glowing magenta staff out over Gorefoot ready for anything. She can see that the source of the noise is a small fungus growing at the base of the cliff that Rodimus just jumped up. (Nars and Gorefoot can see this as well).

Ridik draws his weapon but is unsure why despite the horrible noise.

[sblock=Rodimus]The purple fungus advance on him surrounding him in the awkward angle. Each one lashes out with 4 tentacles. Of the 16 tentacles aimed at him, 4 connect, little needles of pain shooting through his muscles. The pain is overwhelming as poison quickly works its way into his system.[/sblock]

Percy, Nars, and Gorefoot who are already in the room can see a couple of purple mushrooms about 4 feet tall move to surround Rodimus on the ledge.

[sblock=ooc] Oh ouch I managed to hit Rodimus 4 times and he failed his Fort save twice. Bad luck that.

Seeing that nothing is immediately attacking Percy, Gorefoot moves up to the screaming fungus and does his best to silence it. If it looks like Rodimus is in trouble, he'll do his best to climb up the ledge and help Rodimus fight off the moving mushrooms.

OOC: Gorefoot will move up to the screaming fungus and full power attack it until he either gets it to be quiet, a new threat appears, or Rodimus appears to need help.
 

Having delayed enough, Gorefoot jumps forward to attack the shrieking fungus, but in a rather unfortunate comic display he misses horribly (rolled a 1!).
 

"Oooo." Percy purses her lips as Rodimus is attacked. This is bad news. She was hoping this would be a simple task, just killing another ambush drake. But clearly there was more here than that. They'd stumbled upon a nest of danger. And it looked like Rodimus needed...


"Help!" Percy sings out, her voice high. She releases her right hand from her longspear and beckons unseen aid.

OOC: Cast MSII to Celestial Giant Bombadier Beedle to attack the moving shrooms. She can cast this spell at a range of 40 feet. She wants to put the beetle next to Rodimus to distract his assailants.
Spells per day 6/8/6/4. Spells cast: light, mage armor (on rodimus), MSII.
 

Nars eyes the ledge and sees it would take him some considerable time to get up to help Rodimus. He says quietly, "I, er, can't get up there." Nars moves farther toward the hole in the southwest, still hiding (+12) and moving silently (+12), hoping to cut down the places more trouble might come from, and avoid a breath attack if the drake should attack the party.
 


Gorefoot snaps to attention when Percy shouts "Help". Seeing that she is safe from danger but watching Rodimus, he decides to try and help the half-orc out before he deals with the screaming fungus. He sheathes his greatsword and tries to climb up next to Rodimus on the ledge.

OOC: Climb +11
 


OoC: Boy, do I hate ability damage.
Important statistics that have changed: Str 17 (+3) Con 13 (+1); Max HP: 44, Fort +6; Grapple +11; Unarmed Strike +7 (1d8+4 magic bludgeoning)

IC: Rodimus breathes in sharply as his muscles start to burn from the poison. The wierd mushrooms are confusing him somewhat; there's no joy in killing plants.
He takes a strong swing at one of the assailants that managed to poison him, though the combination of the poison and lack of killer instinct seriously hampers his aim. He then carefully backs away from them and drops back down to the ground, using the cave wall to make a controlled landing.
"Mushrooms. With poison."

OoC: Unarmed Strike, PA2 (1d20+5=12) Unarmed Damage, PA2 (1d8+8=10)
Tumble (1d20+12=19) Tumble 2 (1d20+12=25) Tumble 3 (1d20+12=17) Tumble 4 (1d20+12=15), last two fail.
