[Round 3]

Nars catches up to the last remaining goblin but fails once again to connect.

As the last one makes a break for it, Percy shouts to keep it alive, but does nothing offensive... So it makes it out into the clearing at the edge of the forest.

Ridik
Rodimus
Gorefoot
Nezrak

ooc: Pausing to make sure that Percy doesn't interrupt the goblin's flight. It'll make it to the clearing before Rodimus can grapple it in a few seconds.

Dispointed that she isn't able to charm the little bugger, Percy will simply bring it down. Perhaps one of the other ones isn't dead yet.

OOC: Full magic missile on the last goblin. Probably no need to roll. So Percy has no cast 2 first level spells this day...

The last goblin falls just before it can break the tree line and raise an alarm. The goblin that Rodimus kicked into the dirt should wake up in a few hours on its own. The rest are dead.

"Let's, um, drag these corpses away." Percy says. When she says 'let's', it's pretty clear she means someone other than her. She'll let Nars search them. As he does, she approaches. "Did you learn anything? Do you know what these goblins were up to?"

Nars searches the bodies thoroughly, tossing them this way and that with little respect. "That's, er, one ugly, ah, dog. Anyone, er, seen one before?"

After searching the bodies, he helps to hide them and tells his companions anything useful he discovers. "They, er, said 'now we're, ah, one short' after the one, er, killed the other," he says, shrugging as if to indicate he doesn't know what they meant by that.

"They were probably just going hunting and foraging." Percy says. Were they carrying bows or other weapons useful for hunting? And carrying bags and such for gathering?

"We're not ready to attack yet. Let's keep at our plan. Nars stays put, the rest of us take back the living goblin and interrogate it when it awakens. Fridly will stay with you, Nars."

Rodimus helps with carrying the dead goblinoids out of sight. If some of them happen to be still at death's door, he quickly finished them off. No need for more than one of the little runts, especially since the goody-two-shoes would likely feel obliged to spend their little resources in keeping them alive.

The bodies are moved a safe distance away where they are buried to hide the smell from other scouts. Moving the dog is quite irritating as it's skin continues to flake, causing Gorefoot to break out in a rash. Very little of value is apparent on the goblins. Each of the goblins was carrying an ugly iron weapon they affectionately call a horsechopper. Its a big meat cleaver of a weapon that would as soon break bones as it would cut flesh. Their studded leather shows heavy signs of use (and soiling) and their wooden shields are little more than boards with a piece of rough leather nailed on. Each was carrying a small shortbow with 20 wicked looking arrows. The boss goblin was carrying a weapon of slightly different design that is longer and more styled towards slashing. It actually looks like it has been cared for and well crafted. He also has a nicer made small breastplate, 3 potions, and a dented gold cup in his pack.
