Nars continues forward looking for a way to support the other warriors.
OOC:
I've been very busy of late as well so my posting has slipped. I am still excited to keep going, but 1/week is fine with me. Thanks for letting us know, Erekose.
As the battle begins, shouts ring out across the goblinoid forces. Many in surprise though the bosses quickly try to carall the troops into action.
Percy follows behind the trees, keeping pace as they near the walls.
Rodimus charges through the gap first and just manages to dive across to the other side of a loosely concealed pit trap right on the other side of the rubble. He can see goblins hiding nearby in every nook and cranny. From the cathedral to the ruined keep to all along the inside of the walls.
Gorefoot seeing the pit manages to throw himself across it to the other side with a spectacular jump.
The thorns come up short and draw their swords to move to engage those goblins still left along the inside of the wall.
Ridik, with his companions disappearing around the corner of the breach will not be able to affect them with his prayer this round. He huffs along beside Nars and manages to get to the breach.
The goblins along the walls fire at what every they can see. Dozens upon dozens of arrows rain down towards both the lagging second line as well as the trees and elves. Three or four elves take a hit but remain standing. One is not so lucky as he is hit through the neck with a black arrow. Several of the trees are peppered but are just fine. Only one arrow makes it through the defenses of the second line, striking Ridik. The four bosses along the walls encourage their troups shouting orders in goblin,
"Fire damn you! You black dogs will not live out today if any make it in!"
.
Nars keeps up with Ridik and makes it to the breach as well.
The giants stand up from where they were sitting along the south wall. They pick up huge pieces of rubble and move around to get a better shot at the trees. Only one manages to hit, but the resounding crack of the tree taking a huge blow is almost deafening to Percy.
Nezrak follows Nars and Ridik keeping to the side of the wall to take as much cover from the archer goblins as possible. Once he has range he unleashes hellish fire towards the giants. All the giants are thuroughly cooked though they just shake their heads and look in his direction.
The elves fire again at the goblins a top the wall causing only two to come tumbling down this round. They hang back in the tree line (the one not moving), confident in their position.
The treants rumble forward eager to start smashing on the walls of the keep. They are still 20' from the wall and will reach it next round. They do not outpace their animated trees but do lead the charge.
The petals, eager to raise hell like the pixies manage to make several of the archer goblins fall asleep at their posts much to the annoyance and frustration of their nearby boss.
From out of the cathedral emerge a squad of 5 goblins dressed in loose robes and carrying heavy staves of wood dangling with fetishes. Two of them cast spells the cause many more goblin shamans to appear around them looking very similar. The lead one however slams his staff into the ground and sends a lightning bolt screaming towards the breach. Rodimus is completely unscathed as he dodges out of the way, Ridik is singed slightly, but Nars feels the brunt of the bolt hit him square in the chest.
The pixie causes a wide swatch of patchy grass and vines to spring up along the inside of the wall just south of the breach. Several goblins are caught and struggle to free themselves.
The goblins along the inside of the wall then move to attack swarming towards those who entered the breach. Alongside the goblins are their strange hairless dogs and four hobgobins who marshal the forces. The two thorns each hold their side of the wall though the one to the north takes a nasty slash from one of the hobgoblins. About 6 to 8 move to surround each of Rodimus and Gorefoot and a lumbering hobgoblin from along the south moves up to Gorefoot. As one nears Rodimus' superior reach and size, Rodimus snaps out a heavy kick crushing its skull. More swarm closer however still surrounding him.
One goblin heads for the mine as several pour out of the ruined buildings to support those along the walls.
[sblock=ooc]Wow 230 is a lot of guys to move around. Please aske questions if you don't know what you are facing or if my descriptions of positions are lacking.
Percy will act with the treants next round as she continued moving with them this round. With another 10' she'll be within 40' of the wall.
Rodimus and Gorefoot are surrounded by lots of goblins (does anyone have cleave?) and the thorns have a few around each of them. Both either saved or made successful jump checks. There is space to move down the rubble on either side as the thorns did too.
Ridik, Nars, and Nezrak are at the breach, with Nezrak taking as much cover as he can.
3 elves take minimal damage, one is critted
Ridik takes 4 dmg.
The trees take solid hits from the giants, but one is a crit and is bloodied (4th ed term = below half).
Nezrak burns the 3 giants and manages to catch a couple goblins too (though they might've been stepped on in a few seconds anyways). All three fail their saves and burn.
Elves take out 2 goblins.
2 adepts cast mirror image. Spellcraft DC 17 or spot DC 22:
2 cast invisibility
. 1 casts lightning bolt. Rodimus is unharmed from evasion. Ridik takes 12 dmg. Nars takes 25 with a fumbled save.
Between sleep and entangle another good 12 goblins are out for now.
The large half-orc is very much annoyed by the insignificant goblins blocking his way to the real challenge presented by the giants. He kicks the goblins like one might kick a pebble in their way.
OoC: Since Rodimus is currently Large and thus has a 10ft reach, he would've gotten an Attack of Opportunity on one of the goblins if they came to striking distance for them. They could've, of course, surrounded him by leaving a wide berth and just move in next round.
Using Flurry of Blows this round and taking a 5ft. step in the direction of the giants if there is room for that. Sadly no Cleave.

Nars gasps as the bolt of lightning strikes and his feet slip preventing his quick reflexes from getting him out of the way. He thinks of the potion in his sack, but knows he should help thin out the goblins so that Gorefoot and Rodimus can get to the real threats.
He looks for a place to tumble where he has cover against the spell casters, but can still take a whack at a goblin.
OOC:
Use accellerated tumble if necessary: Tumble +12 or +2 at full speed.
Attack +11, damage 1d6+3 (+3d6 sneak attack if applicable)
Nars battle stats:
HP: 18/43, AC: 23, Attacks: Felhunter +10 (1d6+3+3d6 sneak attack) or Felhunter and shield +8/+7 (1d6+1, 1d3+1 +3d6 sneak attack)
Spells active: bless, shield of faith
+4 AC vs giants. +1 to hit vs goblins.
Edit: Reminder that Nars speaks goblin. I don't expect you to post all the goblins orders, but if they say something that would be useful to Nars, such as "Fall back and lure them into the black dragon's lair!", I'd appreciate knowing it.
Edit2: Nars is completely oblivious to anything subtle going on: spot (1d20+8=9)
Ridik ignores the pain and will moves 15 feet to position himself to englobe most or all his companions and as much as possiible of his allies and enemies. Then he will cast Prayer. If posisble, he will get out of the line between the main goblin caster and the breach, to not get another ligthning bolt in the face.
As he moves, he shouts in Goblin: "Throw down your weapon, surrender, adn you life will be spared!" doubting it will have an effect now, but the goblins might think about it later.

If the giants are throwing rocks at the trees, does that mean Percy can see them? If so Percy will shoot off a fireball at the giants. Fireball is a long-range spell. Otherwise, she'll move up to the gap in the wall where her friends entered, and peek through, primarily looking for a good target for a fireball spell.
OOC: Are the nomads elves? I had figured they were human.
ooc: will keep up the goblin speak, there might be a few hints dropped here and there.
will add the fireball because yes the giants came over to the wall and would be in sight for Percy by now. And you are right they are human not elven, sorry about that, I'll fix it.
Rodimus' fists fly as he crushes the skulls of the two goblins to the south of his position and takes a step through the throng towards giants.
Gorefoot slashes away as best he can felling 2 more goblins as well. He takes a step more away from the edge of the pit towards the shaman.
The thorns hack away at the goblins to the side of the wall offering protection for Ridik and Nezrak. One manages to his a goblin dog as it rears to bite, but the other misses.
Ridik casts prayer, encompassing all his companions save Percy. Many of the goblins around the thorns and Rodimus and Gorefoot are also affected. His calls for surrender however are met with derission in goblin,
"Haha, what did your mother feed you on mountain skum? Rocks and farts?! You'll be sorry when Grollk the Defiler comes!"
.
The goblins along the walls continue to fire at the enemies about and below them. The party is missed but another lucky couple strike the nomads but several stick into the treants and their animated trees, one of which looks particularly thorny now.
Nars tumble and attacks, coming up beside Gorefoot on the other side of the pit. He fells a goblin. He can now see the approaching shaman quite clearly and there are only a few more in the thinning crowd between the two of them.
The giants hurl rocks again and one of the animated trees snaps and stops moving. One of the treants takes a significant hit as well.
Nezrak casts haste quickly before his allies move out of range. Rodimus, Gorefoot, Nars, Ridik, and one of the thorns are all enhanced for a short time.
The nomads unleash another volley of arrows and knock several goblins from the wall. One even took a gutsy shot at one of the giants and managed to hit.
The treants continue their march forward as they reach the wall opposite the giants. Several goblins lie along the wall between the titans on either side.
Percy fireballs behind the giants to avoid hitting her wooden companions. None of the three manages to evade the roiling blast which even catches a few goblins in the process.
The petals barely manage to avoid the flames as they were actually closer than the treants. Having put many goblins to sleep last round they gather around the goblin boss pulling on his ears and making fun of him.
The goblins shaman who cast lightning bolt last time summons a wall of duplicates as well this round. The other two mirrored shaman cast scorching rays at the lead party members. One strikes Rodimus with a lucky hit that burns the monk quite badly. Two hit Gorefoot and the last strikes Nars.
The pixie still invisible decides to head further in towards the mine entrance to see where that little gobber got to.
The goblins along the inside of the wall attack as best they can but out of all of those attacks only one manages to hit one of the thorns. All the others prove in-effective.
From the mine comes a huge booming sound that rolls across the battlefield. The goblins rally as another boom ushers forth.
[sblock=ooc]lots more action! If anyone doesnt understand how many goblins are around them or where they are just ask.
