Rycanada seems to have created something of a firestorm with his E6 rules. I admit, the deceptively simple, easy-to-implement rules have got me rethinking the game, and I just started an E8 Wilderlands PbP.

Even though I think it's very interesting and a creative thing to do, it's definitely not my cup of tea and I can't see myself ever wanting to run or play in an E6 game. Even though I haven't played any D&D at levels 15+ (excluding one-shots), I enjoy playing in and DMing a broad spread of levels and like the fact that D&D lets me do so.

Where is the "Interesting, I might give it a try someday" option? I'll probably never get a chance to but I do like the idea.

Rather obviously, I love E6 -- it completely rekindled my interest in D&D3.5, and I'm about to start up a Barsoom-esque "science fantasy" campaign setting.

I consider it a good idea for certain playstyles, however I usually start characters at level 6, so I suppose it isn't my cup o tea.

I like it. It fits perfectly with a campaign concept I've been workign on for a while. It will be my next campaign, which won't be till next year at a guess.
