Unfortunately there is no option in the poll that adequately defines my position. From a quick read through, I like the direction that it is travelling in but I disagree with a few of the aspects of it's destination.

My biggest issue is capping it at 6th level, but then leaving everthing in that 1st to 6th level bracket as is. I think you would need to change some of the fundamentals of d20 (and some of its assumptions in regards to magic) for this to work how I would prefer a "low-level" game to be run.

In essence, I like the idea of it but I couldn't imagine myself getting the opportunity to play it.

While I can sympathise, regarding some of the reasons for undertaking the project, I cannot see any virtue in the approach taken. I would never run it, or play in a game that uses it.

And this is from someone who will try almost any system, once. It's just that hacking off two thirds of a system's advancement process, then stapling some bits on top. . . this is hardly my idea of good game design, let's just say.

Yes

I'm quite interested in running an E6 game. I like mid-level play and a grittier feel as both a GM and a player. Also, stat blocks are less complex at that level, so I think I might find a homebrew more feasible in E6 than in standard 3.5.

Given that none of my players (old group or new) are EN Worlders, and most EN Worlders are DMs, seeing 9 "I'm running E6 now" and 20 "I'll run E6 next" is pretty sweet.

If anyone wants to tell me about their E6 game, drop me a line at my @hotmail.com account named ryanstoughton

Ryan - Hobo and I are both running E6 PbP games over at Circvs Maximvs. That's at least two of those right there. Mine is technically E8, though. But both just started, so there's not much "E6" about either one of them yet.

I like the idea behind E6. I'd put the breakpoint at BAB +10 or 4th level spells, but that's a personal preference.

That said, I expect that many of the issues that E6 addresses will be also addressed in 4E.

I'm running an E6 game, though it's a low priority. I cancel it any time I don't feel like running or have something to do that day. Only my fiancée, my roommate, and my best friend & his girlfriend play in it, so not having a regular schedule isn't a big deal.
