I've made a bunch of improvements to the build instructions. Most notably, I was able to get the default cost down from $1,700 to $1,405! And with a few compromises, it can be built for as little as $820. (Plus shipping.) I've also added schematics for other size tables, including a 3.5' square table that can be had for $640.
