Eberron 3.5 VS 4th

Do not forget pdfs. Lots of stuff legally available now

I really like the City of Stormreach. At first I thought it was a bit illogical in that every nation/family had a strong presence there given its geographical location. But then I really liked the idea that Stormreach was a "mini-Khorvaire" at the tip of the cool "deepest, darkest Xen'drik". So a player can pick anything they want from Eberron and its not out of place there. Plus it is a lot easier to be a "big damn hero" in a city of 12,000 vs. 100,000 (my numbers might be off, but you get the idea).

I'd love to do a Xen'drik campaign. Sigh. So many games, so little time . . .

PS

Late to the party, but honestly 3.5 Eberron will feel more like Eberron then 4e will. I loved 4e in general, but 3.5 Eberron was better in my opinion. Also, there are many more source books available.

I think Eberron works a heck of a lot better in 4e. It really sings.

Can't argue with the wealth of 3.5 material available tho. Fortunately for me, most of it ports well.

PS

I don't think I can find something else since here there is no market for roleplaying games (there was a market in the past, in the 3rd era, so I get everithing used). Now I have to import, paying the shipment, and that's a lot of money.

Thanks a lot to everyone, your information is appreciated.

If you are good with reading and working with PDFs... you can get a whole bunch of the other 3rd Edition Eberron books from dndclassics.com (assuming that you can download them from a non-US market the same way as within the US-- I have no idea whether that's true or not.)

The books currently available for download are:

Adventurer's Guide to Eberron
Player's Guide to Eberron
City of Stormreach
Dragonmarked
Eberron Explorer's Handbook
Five Nations
Secrets of Sarlona
Secrets of Xen'drik
Sharn, City of Towers
The Forge of War
Faiths of Eberron
Magic of Eberron
Races of Eberron
Dragons of Eberron

Plus all the modules (which you said you already had.) And it looks like all the books cost $15 bucks American (to whatever the exchange rate is where you're from.)

So if you really love Eberron and want more info to fill out your game... many of these PDFs would probably be really helpful to you.
