Huh, really? I've got a running list of fast food franchises with major food safety outbreaks that I refuse to go to, and there's a few I also object to on political grounds. Maybe I'm weird.

Same. I can't imagine trusting one large chain but not the other. To me they're all the same (untrustworthy and not worth it for children or adults lol).

Fair enough! More discerning than some at least. I would say I am also probably against every one of them on political (and ethical) grounds

Not at all. I do have exceptions, but mostly for taste and what I see as obvious political reasons. Not something to go into here of course.

Yeah, and in our world technology is more visibly present than it was a couple of hundred years ago. It doesn’t mean our world is more inherently technological.
Magitech is just the natural progression of D&D style magic existing in a world, and people studying and applying it.
And Dark Sun is the phase that comes after the Eberron phase!
