Eberron adventure

First Post
So, last seesion, the party fought a barghest and some ghouls. They got a letter written in infernal, and took it to the nearest gatekeeper druid. He recognised the language as infernal, but didn't speak it. So, he sent ithe party to the high priest of the Maluuk-Ghashkaala. Then the session ended.
So, i was wondering, what should I use for the Eldeen reaches and the Demon Wastes ( besides demons). Also, i was thinking of having the Orc's ride Dire Wolverines.

Couldn't the Cleric or Wizard just cast a simple Comprehend Languages?

Maybe some sort of enemy organization who doesn't want the letter to be read?

SHHH! Anyway, i don't believe the have that spell, probably wouldn't use it if the did, and it's a plot hook. On the second point, i was thinking order of the emerald claw.

the reason why you arent getting responses centers around the one question you were asked.
Why do you need to travel that far to find someone who can cast Comprehend Languages?
not only is it on the list of every first level caster, but its also one of the dragonmarks of House Sivis.
This just reeks of total railroading.
Also, if the party was just fighting some ghouls and a barghest, how are they going to be able handle travelling to the most dangerous place on Khorvaire?

My players are fairly new, and don't know there is a spell called Comprehend language. The orc druid they where talking to directed them to the only person he knew who could speak the language.

They are in the shadow marches, not exactly a stronghold of house sivis or Churches.

This just reeks of total railroading.
How?

Because you're sending them to a specific place when there's no reason to go. It's like making you go to Wisconsin when you need a quart of milk, even though the 7-11 is right down the street.

Also, you haven't really asked any questions...I'm not sure what kind of responses you're looking for. Eldeen Reaches is ok, but I wouldn't send that party into the Demon Wastes for quite a while. That's some scary stuff.

Give them a reason to go there.
What does the scroll say?
Is it some nasty plot that they might be able to stop?
Would the druids send them there after an item, more information etc.

If it is a nasty plot - perhaps that can give you an idea of what to populate the area with. Not sure on the emerald claw angle - unless there is a purpose for them to be there, which is easy enough to come up with.

There's the typical hordes of kobolds, goblins, orcs, bugbears, wolves and spiders. Demons usually like having torture fodder around.

I see your point, but the die have already been cast.

I was looking for adventure ideas. It doesn't matter now because the seesion is about to start.

Most likely

I already have some ideas, but suggestions would be great.

I was thinking of having an injured demon break through the Orc lines and run into them.

Change of plans- The part ended up going to the great druid Oalian to decipher it instead.
