That's because we didn't take things to an abstract level. We indexed the names of kalashtar NPCs, but we didn't have a "Kalashtar" listing with all of them, because if we started down that path, imagine how long the "human" entry would be!

Touche, game designer, touche. Seriously, that's a perfectly valid point and I feel silly for wanting to see specific races in an index now.

And bear in mind that this index was made by my wife and I going through the book one page at a time, as I don't have a full electronic file of the final version - so hey, we did the best we could.

Wow, there's no way I would've gone through that thing page by page for an index, thank you.

As for presence of Adar/Kalashtar in Sharn, in part there's not a lot because there's NOT a lot; the kalashtar are a very small percentage of the population, and both they and the Riedrans are intentionally fairly low-key. Needless to say, Races of Eberron will finally put a spotlight on them.
