Oh, I know - I use Corel DRAW for a lot of material, myself, and the fact that it's Vector-based means it scales BEAUTIFULLY. (Even if it's a memory hog.) It just looked very much like CC2 or possibly something from NBOS software company, but the fact that it's done, and so beautifully to scale in AI, is impressive to me - but then, I haven't looked at a new AI version since 4.0 for windows.

Version 1.3 is in progress. There are quite a few errors in 1.2. (ie Shadow Marshes not Marches...and the like) I will try and do the changes tonight and distribute 1.3 tomorrow.

If you plan to print the map large (and laminate it) I would wait a week or so...so that errors can be caught.
Kildaere... a suggestion/request from me

Can you move New Cyre up a few milimeters? It looks as if its IN the mountains as upposed to bordering them.

And can you possibly darken the national borders? They look like defunct Lightning rails.

Kildaere, I would think it would be great if sometime in the future if you could start a thread on how you constructed the map.

My current career path has taken me away from graphic arts so I haven't used AI on a daily basis in over 2 years. But I still employee it for my hobby work like a map of the nation of Turmish I did in for my FR campaign.

I would most be interested in knowing what you used or did to do some of the repetitive features.
