[Eberron] One liners

Digital Archon

First Post
Let's make some one line adventure seeds for Eberron. Maximum length is one sentence.

I'll start.

Seducing the queen of Aundair and convincing her that delaring war on Karrnath is a great/bad idea

Fighting off the Order of the Emerald Claw on careening, burning air ships

Hunting Cultists of the Dragon across the Talenta Plains on the backs of dinosaurs while angry mercenary elves chase you

Disrupt an assassination attempt on King Boranel of Breland's magebred ghost tigers, and trace the assassin's hire back to Borenel's mauled son Aejar.

A chance sighting of a relative the PCs thought was dead, turns out to be changelling who had secret dealings with the relative and is using his face as disguise.

A mad elementalist hasd decided the only way to 'join' with the dragon below is to free a number of 'enslaved' elemental currently in a number of airships.

House Deneith hires adventurers to travel to Droaam and help contract mercenaries for the house (best with a half-orc, orc, goblin, or other "monstrous" PC).

The PCs are being pursued for a crime by both the Sentinel Marshals of House Deneith and House Tharashk bounty hunters. (Potential for a three-way Mexican Standoff)

A wealthy noble from Q'Barra sponsors a race across Khorvaire, from Q'Barra to the Shadow Marches.

Because Khyber, amongst other things, is know for it's corruptive influences, and the mind is no exception to this property.

The PCs end up in Zilargo.

Fireballs and Lightning Bolts are exchanged in the middle of a crowded Sharn district: a bunch of spellcasters have a grudge to pick with each other, and neither is all that afraid of being seen by the public or the law.

Aerenal sends a major contingent of Deathguard on a seek and destroy mission - for what they aren't saying, but such a brazen breech of national boundries is only matched by the thought of what would provoke one of the most patient groups in existance on Eberron to such rash action.

The PCs discover a weakening Gatekeeper Seal.

The PCs get caught up in a game of wits between rival Lords of Dust, being manuvered like pawns on a chessboard.

A daelkyr-spawned monster has been kidnapping dragons disguised as humans and is draining their blood to fuel an eldritch device.

High Pontiff Jaela of the Silver Flame develops an aberrant dragonmark.

The PCs uncover an elf breeding program 2000 years in the making, trying to restore the Mark of Death.

A Siberys shard the size of a building crashes into Stormreach... bringing something alive with it.

A professor at Morgrave University's research department has become host to a member of the Dreaming Dark.

Civil war is on the verge of erupting in Karrnath between King Kaius' government and the Emerald Claw.

A dying high priest's last request involves recovering an relic lost on a pilgrimage to the Shadow Marches decades ago.

The PC's patron is revealed to be a rakshasa!

(Stolen from the WoTC website's "Steal This Hook", but it was so good I have to share it again) The PCs are invited to a ball by the Lord of Blades.

Any warforged who enter a certain forest in the Eldeen Reaches are found dead within a week.

A tiara given to Queen Aurala is made with a piece of the Madstone.

The Captain of the Crimson Ship, a yugoloth capable of sailing anywhere on Eberron for the proper price, loses his ship in a bet.

Demiurge out.
