NOTES 3.5
SPELLS: Domain of Chaos and Trickery. Won’t list all spells but typically has various Summoning spells, Wall of- spells and Command / Control spells.

HISTORY:

Face of the False Moon. The Darkness. The Chaos Bringer. The person that described here has been known as all of these and so much more. No one knows his entire history, only bits and pieces of it. This is his history and origin as he is aware of it.

In 887 the largest Siberys shard metorite shower occurs over northern Xen’drik. 898 a Drow tribe of hunters and scavengers find what they believe is a huge crater and caverns below. A female warrior known as Saradran feels a powerful presence within these caves and against the dire warnings of her parents and tribe spends the night exploring. She is not heard from again for three weeks. When she is found she is in deep shock and has signs of being in a fight. She is also pregnant.

898 the boy that is described here is “born” to the material world. He is pure black and once Saradran sees what she has birthed she attempts to kill it. It doesn’t die. After several more attempts, Saradran instead flees the tribe and it is believed she took her life as a means of atonement for disobeying her parents and brings the Chaos Bringer into the world.

The boy grows and instinctively knows he is not of this world. He is drawn to the crater and caves below where his mother explored years earlier. After killing the tribe chieftan and every Shaman that try to stop him, he leads the tribe to live here. They begin to treat him as a god and worship him.

Eventually he grows up and studies Xen’drik and several of its ruins. He learns much as he grows and studies the ever changing and often chaotic continent. He then eventually discovers a very large Kyber Shard. He meditates near it for 10 years. In this time he never moves, eats or speaks to anyone. When he comes out of the meditative state he has a new cause and reason to live. He trains the drow of the False Moon and begins to collect Kyber shards. He takes these to growing trade towns and establishes a business with several other larger companies. He begins to make contacts to Khorvaire and untold thousands of gold pieces in trade.

In 917 he comes to Sharn. Random events of chaos begin. He sets up an underground base of operations and begins to make contacts with followers of the Fiends from the Demon Wastes. And after that, planar travelers. Soon he has a grand scheme to spread chaos throughout the world of Eberron.


He begins with further contacts with the Lords of Dust hoping to locate and awaken the great fiend- Orcus. With other contacts, he begins to aid the fiends with development of fiendish undead creatures. They wish to conqueor the world, he wishes for the Chaos to spread.

Then he “befriends” a twisted woman known as Mistress Muy Monstrous. A very twisted and insane woman that has contacts with the Quori and others. She specializes in mutation and transformation. Using her and her work, he creates new twisted lifeforms and begins to try to resurrect a lost dragonmark. The Dragonmark of Chaos.

Eventually they succeed and push their seed out to procreate and spread further.

He comes to learn about a tribe of giants that fled the doomed continent of Xen’drik and went into hiding. He goes to them and convinces them that they deserve better. They deserve their original homes back.

Using his planar talents and contacts, he then learns of a thin wall between here and the plane of Chaos. Through long rituals, he has opened a rift between the two. He is now nurturing this rift and hopes to expand it to cover all of Xen’drik and eventually Khorvaire also.

Eventually he will learn of his opposite number- AURA.

So what is he doing now?
1) Exploring the vast chambers of the Kyber Shard he believes somehow gave birth to him. This includes the growth of his Drow clan- the False Moon Clan.
2) Sells Kyber shards to gain influence and power. Unknown to many of the people he has sold the shards to, he has a link to them allowing him further power.
3) Pressuring the Giants to return to Xen’drik and attack the world. Especially the traitors- Dragons.
4) Aid the Lords of Dust that wish to locate and revive the arch-fiend Orcus. This includes strengthening their other interests that include Undead and mutations.
5) Spread the Chaos Effect (the planar rift)
6) Learn more about his opposite and eventually kill her
7) Cause and spread chaos anywhere and everywhere he can.

The Muse of Moonshadow came from a small village within Valenar named Moonshadow. She was revered as a minor goddess here due her incredible and magical singing and harp playing. She entertained the elves that came here for a decade before adventurers discovered her. Filled with tales of the cities and lands outside of the jungles and forests of Valenar the Lillend left and came to settle in the five nations traveling from city to city singing and playing her harp for money and entertainment. She is very popular with high society (Tain family in Sharn especially).

Spells 9th level bard 9/7/3 known DC 15+spell level
Typical spells used-
0= Danc Lights, Daze, Detect Magic, Lullaby, Mage Hand and Read Magic
1= Charm person, Cure L Wounds, Identify and Sleep

VALENAR

Originally the land that is now Valenar was settled by the elves of Aerenal as a trading post with the goblinoid empire of Dhakaan 10 thousand + years ago. They remained there in small numbers after the empire crumbled and a new one reappeared. The elves traded with the humans of Cyre. When the war began, the elves fought for Cyre. These elves were the Valaes Tairn.

The Valaes Tairn elves wished to honor their ancestors through deeds of honor. The deeds- acts of heroism through war.

Cyre officials had no idea what they were doing when they enlisted the aid from these warriors. As time went more and more of these elves traveled to the continent of Khorvaire to do battle to honor their ancestors. In time, it was not enough to just fight for Cyre when they asked for aid. Soon Cyre found a new force to battle- the very elves they requested.

When the war ended the elves found themselves with no war front to actively battle within. Though they wished for war, they sat in on the Treaty of Thronehold, which officially ended the war and gave them ownership of the land in the SE corner of Khorvaire.

Many fear the elves only came to the meeting to gage the other countries and to give them time to plan for the next war. In the meantime, the halflings of the Talenta Plains find regular conflict with the elves in the Blade Desert and the forces of the Mournlands form a barrier to the remaining

Chapter One is done and I was wondering how many people read the Storyhour and check out stuff. Glossary takes a while to do I want to know how it is being used.

Its been 10 days without comment so I guess I will stop posting my glossary here. I will however continue the Story Hour Siberys Hour as often as I can.
