Eberron Skyship Complications?

temporalhiccup

First Post
I really had a better first post in mind, but I'm two hours away from a game and missing a very important element for my players. Help!

Just the other day I read in a Dungeon (or was it Dragon?) magazine about putting in more Eberron skyship flavor. The article provided mechanics for lightning, buffeting winds, etc.

I oohed, ahhed, and even copied bits of it to use in my underwater campaign (refluffing it as water rushing into an underwater city). I heavily edited it though, deleting bits I didn't see as necessary.

Tonight I have another game I'm running (actually, it's my boyfriend's game and I'm just stepping in for him while he enjoys being a player). I wanted to use the same set of mechanics. Try as I might, I can't find the blasted magazine, and I can't remember what issue # it was.

Help?

Worse comes to worse, I'm just going to take an air/water/storm elemental and treat it like a hazard instead of a monster.

Would appreciate any help, thanks :D

Sorry that I can't help with any information about Eberron skyships, but I did want to say welcome to ENworld!

I hope someone comes through for you, but if not then refluffing storm elemental seems like a really reasonable go.

Plane Sailing: thank you! i DID end up having to refluff an air elemental, but it all worked out in the end :D

Neverfate: THANK YOU THANK YOU. that's exactly what i was looking for. i'll definitely use this at our next game, my party is still sailing in the bleed between worlds, and i can't wait to throw this at them.

The irony is that Plane Sailing cannot help you with your question about plane sailing.
