There is a new type of feat, that goes along family lines, that lets you do something special and diffrent. I'll refrain from telling you exactly what mine did, but it was very usefull.

Interesting! Are these dragonmarks?

Hey! I'm feeling ripped-off! Bloodline dragonmark stuff was an idea of mine long ago, developped for a friend's homebrew.

I'd like to see these feats, they could be fitted inside said homebrew, maybe.

I played Saturday Night, our game had 3 people, plus Rob Hiensoo after he returned from dinner.

I could say more, butI just dont want to be wrong because I was partially delerious from lack of sleep. My players and Kieth can attest that even though I was pumped to play, a few times during the game I litterally blacked out.

WarForged:
They are rare and very cool. They cannot have dragonmarks.
They cannot wear armor.
If they want armor they must take a feat at first level and are required to stick with it. Yes this feat gives them arcane failure.
Yes Warforged can be wizards.
Warforged have no need for sleep or food or drink, though its been suggested to take a page from Futerama and require them to drink oil or alcahol. (Mostly as a joke. Wizards would never allow the second one anyway).
Craft Armorsmithing can be used to "heal" Warforged as the Heal skill is on humanoids.
Artificers are the only ones who can build warforged.
Artificers are the only ones who can cast spells, or infusions, that heal Warforged effectivly.
Normal healing potions (and maybe spells, i think) only work at half effictiveness for Warforged.

You can have as many diffrent types of Warforged as you have humanoids. It depends on how they were constructed. From huge tanks, to light and fast infiltration/assassin units.
Warforged were first created 30 years ago and MOST are 1-5 years old.

I think that covers just about everything that was asked or mentioned during the game i played in regards to Warforged.

Thanks for the extra info, Arthur!

I'd love to see these pictures, but I'm getting an error when I follow the links. Am I missing some level of access?
Then please go to the Enworld D20 News page, and look for Galleries, then the Photo Section...mine's are the latest.

When then, that will make you the third group...(snicker), and yes, I know the lack of sleep business, I had TWO hours only before going to the WFantasy..and it was my First...RPG convention to go to...traveling any further can be expensive...as 300+ dollars were gone by day' end. It was worth the agony and the long trip. :)

As for the WarForged...damn frightening thing they are.....

Cool. Thanks for the info. I just have a couple clarifying questions. :)

Are they required to stick with it because the armor is "built in" to the Warforged? I would guess so, since it has to be at first level. Also, what justifies them not being able to put on some regular armor from a in game perspective? Are they not humanoid? Are they alergic to wearing metal? :)

Also, do they get a Natural AC bonus?

Are they immune to crits?

What are their stat adjustments?

Thanks for the report!

Great, thanks!

By the way, to people who are reading this thread and looking for more information about Eberron, I humbly point you to a little site I've created about the setting:

Jhonen Olain's Eberron Journal

It's basically a collection of every scrap and tidbit of Eberron information that's been leaked by Keith Baker or on message boards like these. I feel like a lot of people who hear one thing about Eberron assume there's nothing below the surface. Those people write off the ideas as derivative. But when you see the care with which those ideas have been assembled and fleshed out... it's hard not to get excited.

As the Artificer, I used them to speed up my casting times when trying to beef up everyones stuff before a tricky encounter.
How long was the casting time for the Artificers' enhancementts? What was the coolest thing about playing one? I'm dying to know as much as possible. Was there any new information that wasn't in the Dragon article?

You said something about the alignments being more subjective... were you implying that BoVD & BoED would not apply here as well (moral relativism or something) or were you just saying there is alot more variation in each race's alignment? (such as, instead of most elves being CG, you see just as many CN, NE, N, etc elves?)

Dunno bout the humanoid thing. And yes its because they are built with it. Only Artificers can modify a Warforged.
