Dormon pats the prisoner on the shoulder, "Well, it's probably not necessary, but it's to keep our minds at ease. You did attack us, y'know. We have no reason to hurt you now, and you've been cooperative, so... maybe we'll pay for a safe escort for you when we see an appropriate service? I don't know, we'll see. How far away, timewise, is your family?"
Arriving at the town, Dormon keeps looking ahead, "Well, it's a sleepy looking place. Jannis, is this right?" He shrugs and continues walking. When he gets closer to the guard, he'll carefully wake him up to ask for directions to an inn.

Jeth'bar listens to the mans pleas in silence. Perhaps he does recognize me, he thinks, but no matter. He's done worse things for money than take a man like this hostage. Silently, he leads the goup on, arrow at it's nock. He looks for any signs of ambush as they approach the buildings.

Gedward is silent for the last hour of walking, caught in deep reflection. He hangs back a little from the rest of the group, giving strong body language that he isn't interested in conversation right now.
As the group approaches the gates, Gedward listens to his companions and his eyes reveal that he has snapped out of his solitary mood. "Right or not, this town must have a dry place to stay," he says casually. "I say we head there. Perhaps an inn or a temple? Jannis, it is surely too late to meet anyone," Gedward states, giving him a warm smile. "You could stay with us until the morning so you can safely attend to your business."

"There is a temple in this community, I believe. I should go there for more healing and perhaps shelter. I doubt house Jorasco has established an outpost in such an out-of-the-way place."
The guard stirs as the group approaches. He quickly stands up, placing one hand on the hilt at his side and another on a lever set into the wall. His scale armor looks of fine quality, though his face is unshaven and his beard and hair rather ragged. He squints as he looks out into the rain. His eyes widen and words pour out of his mouth.
"Halt! What business have you in Windshire? Why is that man bound? What's going on here!?"

Dormon is rather tired from the trip, but musters some words, "Good evening, sir. We're travelling here from quite a distance away and are currently seeking shelter. This man is bound because he attacked us, although I do not believe we intend to press charges against him." He puts his hand on the prisoner's shoulder and looks at Jannis, expecting him to take the lead here. After all, he was the one who hired everyone. And he's the only one who knows why we're here.
