Jannis staggers forward, still holding a wound on his chest. He grimaces in pain.
"Sir, I am on a mission to meet with Lady ir'Kylie, to discuss the raids upon the surrounding land. These adventurers served as my bodyguards. And they served well, bringing me back from death as these raiders attacked us. We even took a prisoner. But we are still badly hurt and need shelter. You may take hold of this scoundrel and hold him for questioning. You will do this and let us pass without incident."
Jannis steps forward and flips out his ID card. The guard's eyes widen.
"Yes, sir! Right away."
The guard scuttles forward and grabs the prisoner.
"Get yourself in and get some shelter. The Windshire house is, well, right above us. And there's the temple, but the priest doesn't take his religion lightly and is not likely to sell his services to the unfaithful."
As you make your way into the small settlement, you see can see four major buildings. The gigantic gatehouse obviously serves as an inn of sorts - the stables in front give that away. On the southside of the town lies the temple, classic Aundairian architecture. To the north is a large windmill, possibly one of the largest you've ever seen or heard of. Set into the hill is a medium sized keep. It looks able to withstand any sort of attack. Large stone doors with intricate inlays appear prominantly.
The guard shuffles past the group with his prisoner, taking him into the keep with a few shouts to some staff seen scurrying about in the background. The large stone doors shut quickly behind them.
Jannis turns to the group.
"I must go to the temple to find some healing. Our halfling friend also seems in need of a healer's hand. I will meet with the Lady tomorrow. You may meet up with me tomorrow morning at the temple to recieve payment for your services. Anyone who wishes to accompany me may. Otherwise, feel free to stay at the House, though the temple may offer us free lodging."
Jannis starts for the temple.
