Eberron: Which Psonic Class doesn't belong?

Our group has been discussing some of the psionic aspects of campaigning in Eberron. We all seem to disagree about which psionic class doesn't belong (if we had to choose).

Psion (there are a couple that would seem to be 'against' Eberron's grain)
-Egoist
-Kineticist
-Nomad
-Seer
-Shaper
-Telepath

Psychic Warrior-never mentioned in any kind of history

Soulblade-Totally alien; again never mentioned in any kind of history

Wilder-Seems on the surface ok, but really just a fringe class

(Isn't there another one from "Mind's Eye?")

The races are pretty much something that's totally alien. None of them are really usable without having a "Star Wars Cantina" campaign.

Psionics, as the Quori use it in Eberron, seem mostly focused on psychometabolic and telepathic disciplines. Lots of mind control and bio-feedback. The Kalashtar seem much more telepathic, but with elements of kinestetics and metabolic thrown in.

PSION: All focuses would be ok, but Nomad seems the least likely.

PSYCHIC WARRIOR: Sharn does deals with these (and I won't spoil it), but combat/psions could also have a place as the guardians of the quori or the defenders of Adar's monastarties.

SOULKNIFE: Perhaps the most alien, but I kinda like the class. However, I could see getting rid of it if you wanted to cut-back options.

WILDER: Ugh. The "sorcerer-psion" of the psychic group seems out of place. Kalashtar teach the psionic art to others and the Quori selectively breed their hosts. Maybe a core race wilder would be ok, but the psionic races would rarely be trained in this. (I guess you could be the baby-in-the-wilderness-raised-by-psionic-wolves, but thats a 1/million character.)

RACES: Elan, Half-Giants, and Thri-Kreen could all exist on Sarlona or Xen'drik. Xephs could too, but I don't see a place for Dromites. The Giths are planar (and have a specific place in the cosmology) and the duergar could fill a Drow-like niche, I guess.

Aside from the Sharn reference, the soulblade / psychic warrior traditions of the quori are explored in this Dragonshard article, and will be expanded on further in Races of Eberron. Wilders aren't an especially strong match for the quori, but I use them in the Cults of the Dragon Below. Both Xoriat and Dal Quor are planes that touch the mortal mind, and the mind flayer shows that Xoriat can be a source of psionic power.

Personally, I don't make use of the races from the XPH, because I prefer to keep the world from having that Cantina feel. In my opinion, the Gith are the survivors of another world destroyed by the daelkyr, and now live in Kythri and the Astral Plane; this fits with the assertion that Eberron is not the first world visited by the daelkyr, and maintains the Gith/Illithid emnity with a slightly different twist. The half-giants say Xen'drik to me; Xen'drik is home to the giants, the giants were involved in a war against the psionic quori, half-giants were bred by one of the two sides. As for the others, between Xen'drik, Khyber, Sarlona, and the Mournland, there's certainly room to come up with something if you want to use them.
