  • No. It just does not look appealing at all.

Switzerland. There are only two things that I like about it so far: warforged as a playable race, and the art (which is, from what I have seen, sadly, far superior to current FR art).

I am all over this like a fat kid on a twinkie. Looks good, smells good and it is a ground floor thing where I won't feel like I am missing out but is still DnD which is what turned me off of stuff like Dawnforge, Morningstar and Midnight. I want to play DnD, not some wonky variation. I also like action points...

I'm gonna give a look when it hits the sheeves at the local hobby shop. From what I have seen on the WotC site and Dragon, Eberron will most likely be added to my collection. The Shifter race is of special interest to me...

It seems like they're really trying to make sure there's something special for nearly everyone.
except for people who don't like high magic or the magic-as-technology paradigm.

i don't begrudge Eberron at all, it seems like it's going to have a large fanbase out the door, and should be an excellent addition to WOTC's stable.

i just don't find anything appealing in it.

I have nothing really against Eberron, per se, but I don't pick up pre-packaged settings in general, so no real interest.

Simple place for me :)

For some reason Eberron is more like Ever-yawn to me. From what I've seen its ok, but just ok. I feel no compelling reason to jettison my homebrew campaign for it. I'll keep an open mind and peruse the material as it comes out. Maybe it will hook me in after all.

Kudos however to the whole "lets let the fan community design the next game setting" contest. That was a stroke of genius.

I will pick it up and it may be my next setting.
Will know after I have it in my hands and give it a good read thru.

I will pick it up. I will read it (when I get the chance). I tend not to run anything but my homebrew (or Ravenloft).

Then again, who knows. I may be inspired to run it.
