“Moradin’s balls, boy! Stop yer screechin’!” Emmyr scolded Templeton. Zanward had the fore zombie contained, so the dwarf wheeled around one of the zombies to come to Rana’s aid, his axes slicing, biting deep into rotting flesh.

Templeton moves quickly into what he thinks is another corridor. Without the little bit of light from Aridha's flaming fist he has trouble seeing in the new area his is currently in. But he has no problem smelling the stench of rusty metal and blood.

Need to keep that ability in mind from now on. So let's say Templeton still got a couple scrapes across the cheek, but I will take back the 2 pts of damage. Going to be hard to play it in pbp, but with a little practice we should do alright.

The rogue is up unless you want to wait for @Shayuri and the other ladies to go.[/sblock]

Templeton shakes off the initial surprise and shock. Fear is replaced by anger as he darts back in near Zansword. He probes at the thing's mottled flesh with his rapier until finding a quick opening wth his knife, slicing open decayed flesh.

OOC:
I believe the Reaction is triggered by an opponent ending its turn within 5 feet. So the 2 damage should stand.
Move to K15
Rapier misses AC 8, Offhand Dagger hits AC 19 for 7 damage
Rapier then offhand dagger vs zombie, plus sneak damage: 1D20+5 = [3]+5 = 8

"Rana!" Killing zombies was one thing, but Aridha was NOT letting Rana become one of them! Still holding onto the fire, she leaned down and touched the old woman's ankle, gathering life from the earth around them and directing just a tiny fraction of it into her.

(Cure Wounds, 1st level, [roll0] healing)

As her eyes fluttered open, Aridha urged, "Get clear, Rana! We'll take care of these things!"

Rana needs no more encouragement as she disengages from within the creatures grasp and backs away on her rump cursing the whole way. Gwylla calls upon her arcane energy and launches three missiles of magical energy. Two strike the zombie before her and one streaks out to help Zanword. The creature before her now has a gaping hole in its chest, but still it it reaches out to attack the half-elf wizard.

Zanword watches in horror as the magical bolt takes out the better part of the zombie's face and jaw before him. Still it will not fall. Templeton too pokes and slashes at the rotting corpse and whatever dark arts have risen the creature seem to keep it together.

Hexiros and Bekah take off an arm and put more than a few holes in the zombie before them and yet it stays standing and lashes out towards Emmyr.

And then another of the cell doors (this one near the end of the corridor), swings open and more undead come out and move slowly towards the combat. Templeton wants to flee once more, but he is to slow to move as he is still pulling his weapons out of the corpse that won't die before him. A zombie walks up to him and grabs his arm, raking its claws down the cloth and skin as the rogue tries to pull away.

One...two...three...THREE Zombies that were way too close for comfort for Templeton. Already bleeding from multiple scratches the rogue deftly stepped away from the thick of the fray. "I got yer back Fancypants. WAY back!"
On his way he took a stab at a zombie near Emmyr but missed...not pausing, he kept going until finally leaning heavily on a pillar, away from the undead.

Zanword blesses his sword with quick prayer and slashes at the zombie. Green-gold light flashes along the blade as the grace of nature enters into filthy flesh and dispels unnatural fascimile of life the corpse contained.

But even as it folds, others take its place. He retreats closer to the group. "Holy power seems to put them down for good. If you have holy water, try to splash some on them!" he calls out to the others.
