ECL +1 race w/ SR?

aasimar and tiefling would've been nice, but they only have specific elemental resistances more in line with DR not SR.

now you just need something that improves your base SR..lol.. all you really need is about a 10 point improvement or so... well.. maybe 15..lol

That'll work. It isn't as nice as I'd hoped for, but with a base SR of 20 (12 + 24/3) I can boost it up to 47 with just a spellcraft DC of 1. If I look hard enough I can likely find some other ways to lower the DC, or I can pay more gold and XP for a higher boost (18,000gp and 360xp per +1 is kinda expensive, but if it makes me immune to most magics, I'll take it and be happy.

Um...you do realize that SR doesn't stack? If you have an item that grants SR, there's no point to having inherent SR, since they don't add.

Right. What I'm looking at making is an Epic spell that grants an enhancement bonus to Spell Resistance. Unfortunately the seed is much less efficient if the base creature doesn't already have spell resistance.

Now I just have to figure out why a Tainted One would be a Lawful Good follower of Mystra.
