[ECL] Githzerai

Wandering. Not lost. (He/they)
Anyone have any idea on the ECL of a PsHB Githzerai? I was thinking around 2, but wanted other opinions.

ECL bugs me. Since a Half Dragon template is only supposed to increase ECL by 2, but have you ever seen a Half Dragon bat? Not something I want to fight for a simple CR 2.

Actually, I think Githzerai are ruled at +2 ECL anyway, though I'm not sure if that's exactly the case. I Know Githyanki were ruled at +2, and they have telekinesis at will I think, so I'm not sure at the final result.

Both Githyanki and Githzerai are ECL +2. GY's are massively overpowered with their TK at will (16d6 every round), but are easily managed with house rules that limit either times/day or caster level of their psionic powers.

To limit the githyanki the solution seems simple: Limit telekinesis to just controlled force and not violent thrust, you can still do damage say, if you lifted up a boulder and then dropped it from a substantial height, but it takes longer an is not as bad as violent thrust.

Thanks all 8) I thought it had been officially stated, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I'm pretty sure you'll find their ECL in both MOTP and PsiHB. Even though there are differences between versions in those two manuals, they are all +2.
