Haven't had the chance to read over the article yet, but, I must say, the art is fantastic (and colorful!) I definitely hope that this piece is indicative of "4e style."

I think it could be a holy symbol. We've been told that there are holy symbol attacks for clerics.

Now I want to play a cleric with a big golden ankh on a big golden chain. Solid!

The elf chick is a cleric or paladin, her holy symbol is a dragon's head (Bahamut?).

Unfortunately, it looks like you're right, it is a dragons head.

When I first saw it, I think she was a cleric of Pony, the goddess of ponies, and I thought "What a great way to attract the teenage girl demographic! Wizards are really thinking of the future!" But it was not to be...

My memory's shaky, but I don't recall that even being close to right. But then, all I really remember is that he had a thing for elf chicks. (Which really doesn't narrow things down much.)
