A lot of the comicsgate people speak grognard, and if you're not clued in to what they're doing and is all about, it can be hard to spot as an outsider.

Ryan Tyler Palmer — who's pretty involved in the War Campaign spinoff that thinks CG is "weak on the culture war" — wrote a tweet about "people taking advantage of Ed" when it's pretty obvious he was doing that himself to begin with. I sincerely doubt he'd like and would agree with anything Ed has said on diversity since the 80s.
