How can I edit a review, or contact the reviewer?

ACE has been reviewing a number of my books of late (including the Unorthodox Witches lately), and the one of the first thing he always states is "Disclaimer: This is a compensated review".

It is troublesome as it implies that I paid him to review my books, which is not true.

Besides posting a reply, is there anything else that can be done?

His reviews are found here: http://www.enworld.org/member.php?u=944

Err... you can't edit someone else's review!

To contact him, you can either email him (if he has allowed that), PM him (if he has that feature) or post a comment after the review itself.

Email is not there. And PM is not allowed.

The only thing I was able to do was post a comment. Not much else I can do I am afraid.

I imagine "compensated" means he got the PDF as a comp copy - that's the usual meaning of it. Makes it clear that the reviewer didn't actually buy the product. Are you part of the PDF Review Project that Crothian is running?

Thanks.

Thanks all.

I figured he received it as a free copy. Either from me or someone else. It's just that the word "compensated" sounds like "paid". A couple other people also commented the same to me.

Other than that, the reviews itself are good.

Thanks again.

Ace has contacted me via email, and says he will be more careful for future reviews and try to edit the existing ones accordingly.

Thank you Ace, Crothian, and everyone else involved.

My cats thank you too.
