Edition-Crossing Adventures

Legend
I'm currently running a 4e pickup game where the pcs are going through B4, the Lost City- a module written for the BEMCI ruleset, converting things on the fly as I go, and it's a total blast. In my 3.5 game, I ran a kickass conversion of the 2e Return to the Tomb of Horrors adventure, which totally ruled. I put a 3.5 (low-magic variant) party through the 1e Ghost Tower of Inverness, too.

What edition-crossing adventures have you run?

Since 1982 or so, I've run several cross-edition adventures from 1Ed to 2Ed and then eventually to 3Ed.*

However, almost all of them were homebrews, so that doesn't help much.

* The nature of the changes from 3Ed to 4Ed is one of the main reason the groups in which I participate won't be transitioning to the new set.

I ran Isle of Dread in Scarred Lands for 3e.

I also did B4 for 3e.

B4 is, IMO, one of the absolute best modules ever written. That's how a low level module should be done. Lots of open end places and almost an entire campaign setting in its own right. Great stuff. All hail Zargon.

I ran all of 1e in 2e.

I ran the original TOEE, Border watch and some DUNGEON modules in 3e, and then a full 1e/2e campaign in Greyhawk using 3.5 (at least 20 modules).

Conversion is usually easy, once you learn to ignore the printed stats and take the equivalent in the current system.

And no, I never bothered computing CRs.

I've run 0e, 1e, 2e, and 3e adventures as 1e.

I'm currently running a 4e adventure (KotS) as 1e.

An adventure is an adventure. Only the numbers change. :)

Ran B1, C2 & The Mud Sorcerers Tomb (prior to the conversion presented in Dungeon Mag) under 3E.

The characters were time trravelers trying to get back to their own present. With each adventure there was one third of a piece of artifact they needed that they found in order to get back to their present.

I honestly don't see how it be impossible to not run any adventure from any edition in another. Yeah the math be different, but that is the math not the plot.
