I was at fault for my three-day vacation, and I never claimed otherwise.

I was also once banned for 3-days and never claimed to be innocent. I just thought that the reason I was banned was simply a bit much since I made an honest mistake. What I did to get banned made me no more of a jackass than the mod was being for banning me over it.

Interestingly, in all the folks who have been banned from EN World over the years, not one of them are at fault! The very possibility that they may have been being - for want of a better word - a jackass is utterly impossible.

But the mods are never at fault? I find it to be a double standard to refer to me as a jackass (seeing as how I was once banned) when I would get warned/banned if I referred to a mod as being a jackass for locking a thread when he thinks it's ran its course.

The reason I got banned had nothing to do with flaming, trolling, or being a jackass. What I did was pretty tame & simply an oversight of the forum rules. On any other forum I visit, I would have simply gotten a private warning, not a ban...because they realize I'm not a bad guy and I wasn't trying to cause problems. I think you're being a little smug in your impression of a lot of the forum members here that don't fit into the main Enworld clique. That's not cool man. None of us are perfect, not at posting or moderating.

No wonder I hate edition wars. This chart empirically proves how repetative they are, and I had meaninless repetition.

Thoguh I think 3.x or older needs a seperate branch for those how can't stand anything after 2e. Or even better, a branch for those who think the game sucked after 1e.
