More like "Edition Yawns"

Believe it or not I know one Keeper who got upset with the changes between CoC 4 and 5. He felt that the increased skill points made it too easy for the characters to survive.

That link has been around since the very start of the World of Darkness (not the very start of Ars Magica, since that precedes WoD by a couple of years). Note that one of the Vampire clans has the exact same name as one of the Houses of Hermes (Tremere).

Yet oddly the two are pronounced differently, even by the folks at White Wolf... Tremere (Vamp) rhymes with meer, while Tremere (Ars) ryhmes with mare 'eh?

The two World of Darkness versions get a fair amount of flak locally too.

As for the Traveller edition wars... General concencus in the group is that Mega Traveller stank on ice, but Traveller and Traveller: The New Era were completely different games, so people had no trouble playing both...
