Grimstaff said:Wow -- this combo really seems to be working well together:
(Core 3.5)
Wilderlands of High Fantasy
Mother of All Encounter Tables
Eldritch Sorcery
Tome of Horrors
Dungeon Crawl Classics
Talk about old-school gaming goodness!
I just might check those out...Jyrdan Fairblade said:Beauty!
To add onto the old school feel, I'd recommend Green Ronin's Cavalier's and Assassin's Handbooks, to provide those classes as core rather than prestige.
No, absolutely not necessary, but the first time you whip out a cleric or sorcerer armed exclusively with spells from this book, you'll be glad you did. If the guy attacking the party throws out 3 magic missles, they pretty much know they're up against a 5th lvl wizard, but if the guy in the funny hat is throwing out Earthen Blast and Death March, they're gonna be a lot more intimidated and cautious.Gansk said:I am interested in running a campaign like this, but without the Eldritch Sorcery. Is it really necessary?
