Hmmmm, this looks very good. Any more info on it?Mouseferatu said:I'm part of the creative team on exactly this--an Egyptian setting that doesn't claim to be, or try to exactly match, historical Egypt. It's a D&D setting, not a historical game. Intensive research went into it, so most of it is culturally accurate, but where gameplay and history differed, we chose gameplay.
I'm not allowed to name the company who's publishing it, but it's a recognizable name in the D20 industry. And the developer/head writer on the game is C. A. Suleiman, writer of Vampire's "Cairo by Night" and current developer of the Mummy: The Resurrection line.
More--including release dates--when I have the info and am permitted to share it.

Waaaaay back, Palladium did a "Valley of the Pharoahs" game. It's now available for free from their website. Not that you'd necessarily want to play it, but it could be useful to mine for source material.
