I have a request: Add three more categories, please?

1) Freakish colored eyes, as in multicolored, swirling, etc. Am I the only one who thinks these sorts of eyes would be frightening and not attractive?

2)Overuse/misuse of the word 'adorn'. I can't tell you how often I see that word misused. For example, _____'s swirling golden eyes adorn her face.
Sounds like her eyes are stuck on with super glue. Yuck.

3) Atrocious spelling. Not just one word, but many, many, many. No punctuation at all, and lots of transposed letters. Hey, guys. Use a spell checker. Or one of those dictionaries from the 'olden days'. If you want me to read the description of your amazingly beautiful/handsome/powerful/frightening character, at least check your spelling.

For the record, none of my characters (all female) describe their cleavage or their beauty. I've always figured it's up to others to decide what constitutes beauty. If that weren't the case, there would be only one supermodel in all the world.

I am the most handsome. If you disagree with me, I will dominate you to change your mind.

Just being informative.

By the way, nice work.

Hin!

Perhaps you didn't notice any halflings because they were all protesting that demeaning name, and wanted to be called Hin :-P

Oh, but I do play a 'halfling' character. And she doesn't describe her cleavage. But she does have some cool eyes.

~Elliott, Cora. Yeah, me

. . .

Well, I guess Tsuko does fall under odd color eyes. . . but that's not my fault, that was the DM's fault, she's the one that decided the demon was gonna fall towards Tsuko. . . As for cleavage, I have ONE character that has that described in her description. . . . . . . . . . . . and she's a succubus. . . Heh

As far as I'm aware, all my descriptions are cleavage free. ;)
Hey, that should be some sort of advertising product..

"Guarenteed to be 100% cleavage free!"

But yes, I agree that this should be done regularly, it's really interesting to read.

hrmm

Could it possibly be the male gender playing our fairer side, that are lending this outrage and influx of female characters bodily descriptions?

*chuckles* Jes a fair observation.

The male player, having to overcompensate somethings simply because.... Well.

I wonder the consensus on that. You know *not* that there's anything wrong with that, and on the flip side. Were I to ever play a male char.....I mean that's fairly hmm, tough to say it'll ever happen, but believe me. I'd stay far away from any sort of sock stuffing and whatnot.

Oooh! Oooh! And I'm guilty of the freakishly discolored eyes with Gene!

But aiming for the freak-out effect. Kinda like Samara, or Sadako.

Boo.

None of my characters describe their cleavege, hence I'm some kinda hero. I think.

As for the entire "LOLOLO SIZE MATTARS ROFL" description thingy, well...I don't think it really matters. Wizards is a family site...kinda...right?

Right?

*reads through the posts then almost busts a gut reading Lace's reply*

I think you might be onto something there Lace. Though after thinking about it I remember some of the most 'descriptive' female descriptions were those being played by female players. I think what it is starting to boil down to is that if your character doesn't have a body from hell and isn't a master of everything thought of you are going to have a very very dull time on site unless you stick with a group of players to interact with.

I guess I am one of the odd males that plays female characters. I have two female characters. Neither of them are absolute sluts nor are they lesbian or bisexual. I like real life for living out my wicked thoughts:smirk:

Well it is SUPPOSED to be a family site but can't remember my folks let me watch movies or read books that had half the stuff that goes on around here. Guess the meaning of what is family orientated has changed greatly since I was a child *shrugs*

Hmm okay now that I have made myself feel old, I will go and contemplate what it is going to be like when I hit thirty next year.

Jason

Ah, the joy of statistics! Remember that saying 20% of female characters describe their cleavage means that 80% aren't. So no, Gene, you're no hero (or not for that, hehe).

As for being a family site, I think the rating limit tends towards "PG-13" not "G". This is "Pirates of the Caribbean" not "Peter Pan". And Hollywood, at least, has been slipping an awful lot of risque stuff under the "PG-13"/"R" wire recently. I suspect that the kids that have been to see "Scary Movie 3" and other "PG-13" films that have come out in the past few years aren't going to be too traumatized by what happens on site.

Heh, and you aren't that old, Jason. (I can say that, 'cause I'm older, lol!)
