Eladrin Swordmage Advance

It reads:

When you use your fey step racial power to teleport to a square adjacent to an enemy, you can make a melee basic attack against that enemy as a free action.

...Does this seem insane to anyone else? If you fey step adjacent to three enemies you get three basic attacks! Is this how it is supposed to work or has it been errata'd?

There isn't a need for errata for this feat, as the rules were updated to limit characters to just one free action attack per round. So swordmages with this feat could only attack one adjacent enemy when they fey step, even if they ended their teleport adjacent to three enemies.

EDIT: D'oh! Ferghis is right, the limit is one per turn. This is what comes of not reading the Rules Compendium often enough. So an Eladrin Swordmage with the feat in question could get a free MBA as part of their Fey Step, and still be able to take a free action attack granted by a Warlord later in the round.

For added insanity, check how your GM handles Feycharger. It lets you spend your Fey Step to teleport as part of a charge, if you hit, the power is not expended.

Something horrific to picture:
Eladrin dex based slayer wielding a Gouge.
Windport Rise background for two multi-classes.
Surprising charge (+2d6 brutal 1 when you have combat advantage on a charge).
Eladrin Rogue feat that gives CA if you teleport next to somebody. (this is not even needed if you use powerstrike to knock them prone)
Eladrin Swordmage Advance.
Feycharger.
Headsman's Chop feat.

Charge/teleport to foe, free shot (maybe knock them prone with powerstrike), then a +1W charge. Rinse and repeat until you miss.
