D&D 5E Elemental Affinity + Flaming Arrows

With Elemental Affinity you add your Charisma Modifier to one of your spells that deal Damage associated with your type. In this case Fire. So if you were to cast Flaming Arrows on your Ranger's quiver and the Ranger attacks with it. Would the Ranger's damage add your Charisma Modifier? Cause its your spell, deals fire damage but someone else is shooting it.

The feat does specify that when YOU roll damage. So, no, it wouldn't work on another character.

From the PDF that i have from the PHB says :

Starting at 6th level, when you cast a spell that deals
damage of the type associated with your draconic
ancestry, add your Charisma modifier to that damage.
At the same time, you can spend 1 sorcery point to gain
resistance to that damage type for 1 hour.

So you cast a spell, it deals damage, and its associated with fire. you just did fire the arrow. I'm mostly posting this thread for clarification on the matter and want to see how others would rule it.

Per the errata, elemental affinity only applies to one damage roll. I see no issues with the first arrow from the flaming quiver doing a little extra damage.
