Elemental and Half-Dragon age?

A Dragon Disciple half-elf takes on the Half-Dragon template at 10th level. Her type changes to Dragon. Is she now a Half-Dragon (Augmented Half-Elf)? What's her maximum age?

An Elf Elemental Savant (Fire) "transcends her mortal form" at 10th level. Her type changes to Elemental. Is she now an Elemental (Fire, Augmented Elf)? What's her maximum age?

Rules please, but failing that some opinions welcome. Looks like DM's call to me...

Opinion: Elementals don't age, maximum age = infinity. lock her up in a box and come back in a hundred thousand years and she's still there, assuming she didnt kill herself from boredom

There is no ages for half-dragons that I know of. Remember that full dragons live forever until killed.....and in many campaigns so do elves........your choice mostly.

Elementals do not age so age bonuses/penalties no longer add up but old ones remain. Lives until killed like a full dragon or elemental.

Here's how our DM ruled:

- The half-dragon templated half-elf is in fact a true half-dragon (his elf mother was assaulted by a blue dragon), and the "half-elf" and "dragon disciple" path was a mechanism until he could realize his full potential (and daddy's genes kick in). His max age was deemed to be the average of elf and dragon great wyrm baseline (so, around 775 + 4d%).

- The Elemental doesn't age, magically or otherwise.

In the Draconomicon, it does give approximate ages for dragons. The oldest ancient wyrm croaks at around 4000+ years old. Give or take a few decades. That's for golds and reds and the like I believe. The other types don't live as long by a few hundred years.

Elementals must somehow age, because the toughest non epic elementals are called elder elementals. However, I would definately agree that age has no negative impact on elementals and they cannot die from old age. Maybe they just get bigger as the eons go by and that's how they get to be elders.

On the similar topic, which I've been meaning to ask. How old does a native outsider get? Do you figure they die from old age? Specifically janni, and half celestials and the like. What about a monk? Regular outsiders don't die from old age do they? Since however most outsiders are involved in violent conflicts they die in conflict, yes?
