Elf character name help needed

I'm redoing a Dungeon Crawl Classics adventure for use in Ptolus (and in a pbp game here at ENWorld, now that the election is almost over, at last) and am tweaking various things that don't work for me.

One of which is having an elf ghost who's the last victim of a serial killer have a name too close to one of the real life Jack the Ripper victims.

So I'm looking for a name for a female elf that implies sorrow and death. I've previously used the Races of Stone book to come up with dwarf and gnome names, but don't have the Races of the Wild book or any elf name generator.

Any suggestions on names for this elf ghost? It should be her name while she was alive, as residents of the community are certain that it's the dead elf girl.

2) www.behindthename.com celtic, irish, scottish, and welsh names make good elf names to my ear.

3) www.seventhsanctum.com also has an elf name generator that works pretty nicely.

Download the shareware Everchanging Book of Names . The "Core Chapters" include several Tolkien languages, including the elven tongues of Quenya and Sindarin.

When I need a stereotypically elven name, I crank out a hundred or so using EBoN, and there's always one or two good ones in there.

I use sites with baby name listings that lets you search for the meaning of names for this sort of thing.

If you don't think the name sounds quite right you can always use Voadam's approach and elf it up with some extra vowels.

Personally I think your ghost sounds like a Deirdre ("sad one").
