ELH in the SRD?

First Post
I faintly remember hearing rumors that WotC might put the stuff from the Epic Level Handbook into the SRD.

Since Urbis, the setting I am currently writing, does feature some Epic Level material, I'd like to know if there are indeed plans for this - I still have some hope of publishing it some day, and for this it must be fully compatible with the d20 licence...

Good ol' Krusty could probably tell you more about that, since he exchanged e-mails with people at WotC...

From what I remember, Deities & Demigods and the Epic Level Handbook will find their way to the SRD about at the same time as the revised edition. I don't remember if that will be shortly before or shortly after.

I would like for the mechanics of the Manual of the Planes and Oriental Adventure to follow (this for Anthony "Zulkir", if he happens to pass by that thread)...

Good, good... So I won't have to find a new form of bigass spells for Nexus Towers...

The MotP stuff would be cool, yes - the Cosmology section in Urbis could work well with it.

I think ELH will be a part of SRD shortly. WotC has a company policy, that materials which aren't in SRD shouldn't be referred to (of course that doesn't include setting books) and in Races of Faerun you can see an Elven High Mage PrC which refers to ELH...

(Sorry for my English, but I hope I made my message clear...)

U_K has mentioned that he was working under the assumption that the ELH and D&Dg would be added to the SRD in April. Since April's almost over, seems like he was told wrong, or something happened to change the schedule.

Hi all! :)

I was informed that the plan is to add them to the SRD before the revised editions are released (in July). I ascertained the earliest that would be would be April - hence I was working to that schedule...of course Euro Gencon interupted my schedule so I am probably still two weeks away from releasing anything even if it was updated tomorrow.

I for one can't wait until July. Not only because the ELH and D&DG should end up SRD, but so will 3.5, which means that all companies should start doing ECL and level adjustments the SAME WAY. It's annoying having to refigure ECLs in D&D books, third party or otherwise, so hopefully everyone will start using the same system.

I just hope Wizards doesn't try to change it AGAIN.

Remember... Hit Dice + Level Adjustment = ECL

Folks,

Yes, the ELH and Deities will go into the SRD. We don't schedule that happening we just look at the amount of work and make our best guess. Currently it still looks like both will go into the SRD sometime around the July release. Likely the ELH will be first. With a bit of luck it might even come out before 3.5.

After that we will likely take a poll of d20 publishers and ask them what they want to go into the SRD next.

As a player, not a developer, let me just say, you guys are great!

I already own both these books, but it'll be awesome to see them be able to be supported/included in other products.

I'm very glad to hear that the OGL thing is working well enough that you guys are comfortable pushing more into it.
